When I was a child we had a family dog. I wasn’t too impressed by him or interested; When I got older and current home of our own, I said no pets. I then encountered a stray pet and fell in love. I enjoy cats. They are so cool. I care about the way they move, their cool eyes, how they jump and pounce and that they are legitimately independent. Since our pet was a former stray, he is pretty needy. I also have nothing else to baby other than him, however my cabin is quite the setup for a cat. I have many scratch posts in and outside of our cabin for him. I fashioned a pet door in our window so he can come and go as he pleases. I also changed our Heating, Ventilation, and A/C equipment for him. I Didn’t care about the central Heating, Ventilation, and A/C unit anyway. In our section I hardly used the cooling function. I also didn’t care about the sound the heating system made when it clicked on and off. I was preparing to redo our flooring anyway as well. When I noticed our pet got freaked out anytime the heating system turned on and rumbled, I knew it had to go. I upgraded all the ugly cement in the cabin with soft carpet. I also added radiant heating underneath it. So the carpets are soft and warm. The heating plan is silent in operation and doesn’t stir up dust. My pet does not hear it turn on however notices the hot feeling, then he will frequently kneel on the rug to take a nap due to its heat.
