I had been having some trouble with the fireplace, as some of the stuff between the bricks was flaking out and there was nothing but smoke coming into the house. There was plenty of heat, however it was also putting smoke in our eyes. I talked to the heating and air conditioning corporation and asked who I should contact to get our fireplace repaired. They told me about a bricklayer they knew, and when I called the gentleman, he made an appointment to come out to the house. He said he could repair the broken bricks, and that would make the hearth and mantle look better, even though I needed someone to clean the chimney and make sure the flue was working. This made sense and so I called the local chimney sweep and he was there two days later. All I wanted was for our fireplace to be repaired before Christmas, but I was beginning to wonder if that was going to happen. When the chimney sweep was finished with the chimney, he had excruciating news. He said there was a lot of debris plus creosote in the chimney that he had detached. There were also some broken bricks and cracks in between them that needed to be fixed. He wouldn’t suggest using the fireplace until I had the chimney repaired. I looked at our fireplace and shook my head, as I was realizing a fire in the fireplace may not happen this year. I would just get a fireplace insert that ran on electricity, and hopefully I could find one that looked like it had sparks in it.

He Told us he Would Knock out the Job as Quickly as Possible
When our gas furnace quit working, all of us wanted it repaired quickly. My mom and dad lived with us and they were both in their mid 80s. If it wasn’t 75 degrees in the house they weren’t blissful. I told them our gas furnace wasn’t working, and so all of us had to huddle in the living room near the gas fireplace. A minute later, the heating and air conditioning serviceman arrived at our home. I expected him to show up sooner because we said it was an emergency, and we were paying the heating and air conditioning corporation for overtime minutes on top of the emergency fee. He told us he was going to do the job as quickly as possible, however it took him over five or six hours. I asked why it took so long and he said it was a hard job. He still hadn’t completed the job, but he had to go to the heating and air conditioning corporation for more parts. Mom and dad were getting antsy plus they wanted to go to bed, even though I could not let them away from the heating device. I had to have heating in the place or they were stuck here all night. I told the heating and air conditioning expert about our mom and dad and insisted he had to get the gas furnace running quickly. If he wasn’t done in half an hour or so, I would need to make a call to the hotel and get our parents out of this chilly house. They could not go without the gas furnace for much longer, as mom was shivering and dad’s lips were turning blueish. Six hours was more than enough time to repair a gas furnace and I wanted it done.

My wife told me that she was in labor, and when I called the hospital they asked how far apart her pains were.
She told myself and others that they were 20 minutes apart and we were told to stay at the beach house and relax.
Until the pains were 10 minutes apart, she could stay home. The doc said we had several hours before she had to go to the hospital. In the meantime, it began to snow and I was distraught about getting to the hospital on time if it continued snowing and we waited too much longer. My wife reminded us of what the doctor said and told myself and others to relax. Both of us sat in front of the fireplace and tried relaxing, however her pains, although still fifteen minutes apart, were getting harder. She was crying with every pain and so I took her to the car, although she was arguing about it, and all of us headed to the hospital. We got about five or so miles from home and we could not go any further. The police were stopping all cars because of an accident involving an ambulance plus a truck. The heating system was now working to keep us warm, however it wouldn’t be for much longer. We had to turn the car off while laying in the traffic jam and the heating and air conditioning system didn’t supply heat when the car wasn’t running. Five or so minutes later my wife screamed and said the baby was coming. How did fifteen minutes turn into the baby coming? Both of us talked to a police officer walking around and he brought someone back from the ambulance. The ambulance had a broken tie rod, however the heat was on and they could handle delivering our baby. Twenty minutes later our baby boy was born.
Sometimes you need to spray the coils in your air handler with cleaner
I really need help finding where the darn coils are in our air handler so that I can spray that cleaner on them and get them clean. I thought it would be a five hour work, just spray it on and I’m done, however I couldn’t find where the coils were located so I offered up. I suppose if I also contact a heating and cooling corp and have an actual heating, ventilation, and A/C pro come out and do it for me then next time I could do it myself. I am an actual heating, ventilation, and A/C tech from the old afternoons, but apparently the heating, ventilation, and A/C systems now have changed a bit and I no longer suppose where the said condenser coils are located; however, I suppose the last time I tested a heating and cooling proposal every one of us still had the old dial control units and nobody ever knew anything about a smart control component back then. I’m not particularly sure when exactly the smart control component came out however I don’t suppose it was that long ago. I must be getting much older! I still remember our dad working on his old dial control component with a solder iron, trying to repair the leads that came apart. I wish I could be with dad 1 more time at least working on that old dial control component just to be near him and smell his English Leather aftershave, dad worked as a local corporation doing heating and cooling repairs for people in their homes and businesses; he also amassed quite a luck over the years and it seems appreciate everyone in village knew who he was. I still miss you pops, so much so.

I need help finding where the darn coils are in my air handler so that I can spray that cleaner on them and get them clean.
I thought it would be a many hour job, just spray it on and I’m done, even though I couldn’t find where the actual coils were located so I gave up.
I know if I contact another heating and cooling corp and have an actual heating, ventilation, and A/C pro come out and do it for myself and others then next time I could actually do it myself. I am an actual heating, ventilation, and A/C tech from the seasoned afternoons, but obviously the heating, ventilation, and A/C systems now have changed a bit and I no longer know where the said condenser coils are located, then I also know the last time I took care of a heating and cooling system all of us still had the seasoned dial thermostats and nobody ever knew anything about a smart thermostat back then. I’m not really sure when exactly the smart thermostat came out even though I don’t know if it was that long ago. I must be getting old! I still remember my dad absolutely working on his seasoned dial thermostat with a solder iron, trying to maintain the leads that came apart. I wish I could be with dad a single more time absolutely working on that seasoned dial thermostat just to be near him and stink his English Leather aftershave; however, dad worked as a local contractor doing heating and cooling repairs for people in their homes and businesses, he amassed quite a fortune over the years and it seems like most people in city knew who he was.
