Even though I am her brother, my sister believed she could survive the summer without air conditioning.
There is simply no way she will ever be able to survive a summer without a fully functional A/C.
My sister used to really aggravate me as a child because she frequently behaved like a spoiled brat, which drove my friend and me absolutely crazy. When my friend and I used to have to share a room in the summer, she was incredibly annoying. My sister whined and complained about the lack of central air conditioning in our home for a long time, and as a result, our parents purchased a window unit cooling system for our upstairs living room. I remember that time when my friend and I were without it. If I had wanted the air conditioning unit, I believe it would never have happened. My friend and I only actually ended up getting one because my sister also wanted one. Then a few years later, my parents made the decision to install central air conditioning in the whole house. My friend and I all agreed that the cost of installing the A/C was excessive but that it was a worthwhile investment. My sister ended up renting a house that was reasonably priced to rent after she moved out, though, so that’s all changed now. However, it lacks air conditioning despite being the only arena she could afford on her own. Although I actually have my doubts, she claims that she will still be cordial without it. Considering her, I’m willing to wager that she’ll return home before the end of June.
