My neighbor Jenna has a boiler

I detest Jenna, my neighbor because she has a boiler in her house.

Even though I’ve had a fear of boilers since I was a young child, I realize it sounds ridiculous. I occasionally went over to my aunt’s house when I was younger and spent the night there. The only time she asked me to run downstairs to the basement to get something for her was when I was enjoying my stay at her house. She had a pantry in the basement, and I detested going down there because the boiler was there and the boiler was very creepy. It wasn’t just that the basement was dark and old; it was also that she had a pantry there. I had the impression that the boiler down there was alive because it was making a variety of terrifying hissing noises. Most of the time, I would sprint down there, grab what she needed, and then sprint back up the stairs. The boiler always gave me the impression that it was going to hiss at me and pursue me. Even though I’m older, I’m still not overly excited about the idea of being near a boiler! Even though I now understand that it won’t hunt me down and devour me like a monster or something, I still feel sad for them. I think there’s a remote chance they could detonate and destroy my house or something. Simply put, Jenna’s boiler system makes me dislike visiting her house in the winter. With my nice, secure electric boiler, I would much rather remain in my own arena at home.
