My HVAC business was shut down

My HVAC business was shut down due to a war. When war struck, it didn’t take long for the military to have a material shortage. The government ordered that everyone give over their central air conditioners, hot water boilers, and some of their smart thermostats to be used in the war. This included heating and cooling businesses. My HVAC business was one of the best out there, but the military sent soldiers to take all of my heating and cooling units. First they took my whole home air purifiers. Then they moved on to the furnaces. They really needed the hot water boilers, so those were the first ones to go. Then one by one trucks came and were loaded with electric furnaces, gas furnaces, and portable space heaters. The moved on to the air conditioners. They set a target on the central air conditioners and multi split air conditioners. There was nothing left of the a/c units when all was said and done. They did leave many small things like the air filters and some of the dial thermostats. I realized, however, that there were still a few window air conditioners and portable space heaters hidden in our HVAC warehouse. I contacted some close friends who had lost their HVAC units and gave them the air conditioners and furnaces before the government came and took them. Since the government never found out about the hidden HVAC units in the warehouse, many of my close friends and family were able to survive the harsh weather conditions because of their window air conditioners and furnaces I gave them.
