I’ve never traveled so much in my life as I have with my new guy, but before, I was never able to afford the high cost of gas money as well as hotels on my own, so I didn’t get to see much of the world, however these afternoons the situation has changed.
Because he’s a professional songsian as well as professor, my guy gets to travel often for work in order to attend conferences as well as supply clinics on his field of knowledge, then since the cost of driving is covered by his paycheck, I get to ride along as well as see more of this country than I ever have before! We love our long road trips together as well as we have a normal set of traditions to get through the drive, including sour candies as well as funny podcasts, the only thing we haven’t honestly figured out yet is how to find a great compromise on the car’s interior air temperature while we’re on the road.
See, my guy is consistently pretty warm, as well as he wants to have the air conditioning running at a mediocre level in order to cool himself down; I, on the other hand, tend to run cold. I also totally hate the feeling of cold air passing over my bare skin, so the air conditioning pouring out of the vents as well as directly onto my body is pretty unsettling for me. I try to keep hot with sweatshirts as well as blankets, using the layers to protect my skin from the cool A/C flowing towards me, however then I encounter a new problem; I’m too hot from the hot sunlight streaming in through the window! I feel like I’m going through menopause.
