I’ve decided to move where I’m not going to need to use the air conditioning anymore.
Over the years, I have just gotten really tired of paying for cooling bills during the summer.
Having been born and raised in this hot part of the country, I have just gotten over it. A lot of people want to move where it is warm all the time, but I am the opposite. I am sick and tired of the hot weather and the humidity bothering me all the time. I hate it when there is moisture in the air all the time. The humidity is terrible for mold and mildew, and it seems like I have to run the central air conditioning in my house on a nearly constant basis if I want to keep the house from feeling like an indoor rainforest. I know that it sounds like I’m just complaining too much, but I can’t take it anymore. I just want to go somewhere else where it starts cooling off in the fall and then I don’t have to think about heat and humidity for months at a time. I guess I’ll probably have to get used to the cold weather if I move somewhere that has a much cooler climate, but I’m okay with doing that. I just need a change, I guess. I was adding up the cost of my air conditioning bills for the past few years the other day, and it was just depressing. I probably could have purchased a new house or at least put a down payment on one for the money that I have spent on cooling the house where I live now.
