When someone asked me how long I have been married, I answer them & say “thirty four years”. Many times I get a odd look because this can be a rarity these mornings. I have to admit though, it doesn’t seem that long to me. My hubby & I got married easily young & although my associate and I have been together so long, I still feel like it was sureterday. This happens in numerous areas of our lives. My friend and I have lived in the same dwelling for over twenty five years & when my associate and I first purchased it, my associate and I did a major remodel. I still find myself telling people my associate and I just put in all new windows, but that was twenty two years ago. When they say that life happens in the Blink of an eye, it entirely does, but this topic came up the other day when I asked my hubby if my associate and I should consider upgrading our boiler. My friend and I put in the one my associate and I have now when my associate and I purchased the dwelling & aside from once, my associate and I have never entirely done any maintenance on it. The idea that my associate and I never spend my money any attention to our heat source is a bit strange. He insists that there is no need to do anything even though I am easily sure that my associate and I could put one in that is far more efficient now. Modern technology has improved so much that my associate and I could save significantly on our annual cost. Yes, there would be an investment in the new equipment, but, over time it would spend my money for itself with lower energy bills, then i hope my hubby agrees to at least have a contractor come to the dwelling & give us our options.
