Hudson has been complaining of thermostat problems lately.
It’s not just his thermostat, but his air conditioner too.
When he would tell me about how the temperatures never seem to be right, and how it is causing all sorts of concerns. I was sure it was the thermostat. If there is something wrong with the dial thermostat, it is going to mess up the entire way the A/C unit works. I told him I’d come over on Monday to take a look at it. When Monday came, I looked and worked on Hudson’s programmable thermostat. At first glance, nothing appeared out of place. So, the next step was to open it up and take a closer look. Inside, I observed it was quite dirty. A lot of people don’t know this, however you are supposed to clean out the inside of your thermostat every now and then, or otherwise it can collect dust and cause concerns. I gently cleaned out the inside of the thermostat, and that seemed to do the trick. It felt great that that was all it took and told Hudson the wonderful news. He was relieved, and afterwards he told me that the air conditioner was back working like it should. I was blissful that I could help him, and I made sure to tell him to clean the inside every now and then, because that can prevent concerns. Periodically all it is a simple clean to repair a problem.
