My husband is entirely incredible. Sometimes I can’t even feel what a great human he is, and he amazes me every day through some means or another; One of the things that I envy the most is his ability to learn. While I have a hard time retaining information from reading blocks of text, he has no problem scouring pages upon pages of triumphant and committing the tiniest details to memory. I have no idea how he absorbs so multiple facts just skimming over web pages, even though I sure wish he would put that talent to better use periodically. Rather than learning about vehicle modifications, limited whisky releases, or new cooking techniques, I genuinely wish he could become an expert on our house service needs. There are so multiple handyman projects he could tackle around the house, saving us tons of cash in hiring professionals. Our Heating, Ventilation, and A/C system, for instance, is desperately overdue for routine service and diagnostics. I know he’s capable to clean out the heating system and a/c inner laborings and to check for fluid levels and worn out parts, then he’s a great mechanic when his vehicle has a problem, so I can’t see why the heating and cooling component would be any different. I also have no doubt that he could diagnose weird sounds and smells coming from the ancient heater. What’s more, there’s no option that he’s incapable to change out the nasty ancient air filters every few months. There’s nothing holding him back from becoming our in-house Heating, Ventilation, and A/C professional; he just needs to finally take an interest.
