There were a few various things about this latest relocation that had me a bit frazzled.
- For one thing, I’m nearing the end of my tenure at this job as well as jumping into a new office which was not what I was planning.
But that was part of the succession plan the company wanted so I was in. These new offices are awesome. It even has zone controlled Heating and A/C. There is climate control equipment right inside my office. I can’t tell you how nice it is to be able to fully customize the heating as well as cooling inside my office. That’s sure not the way it was back up north. I worked in offices where I had to bring a space heating system for the winter season as well as a box fan for the summer. The commercial Heating and A/C in that building wasn’t the finest. So I’m completely knocked out by this new commercial Heating and A/C as well as the central zone controlled Heating and A/C. I’m equally knocked out by the heat pump in my home. When I moved south, I wasn’t so sure that a heat pump could update the gas heating system when it came to my cooling and heating needs, but granted, I’m further south now however that doesn’t mean there is no need for any heating. So I was a bit skeptical when I encountered the 1st great freezing snap in my new house. I had seen the forecast as well as was prepared to get my old space heating system out. But the heat pump was amazing as well as worked for my heating needs like it was nothing. I’m just so gratified that all the stuff that I was so stressed about has turned out to be so great. And when I retire, I won’t have far to go because I’m already in the land of the heat pump.
