The house was in nice condition, although he had to sort out the heating in this space. The wood stove was a nice way to heat the house, but it took too long to get started. This is something Darren learned the first time he spent winter time living in the cabin. So, he began to search for more efficient ways to heat his home. The possibilities he got were a gas furnace plus an electric furnace. The heating plus A/C specialist who was helping him figure this out encouraged Darren to go with an electric furnace because the price of gas was high, plus was going to get higher.
