I’ve always lived in older homes.
The first condo that I owned was great, it had a pool, a crucial front porch & a lot of yard for my dog to run around in.
My second old condo that I lived in had four stories with a lot of rooms. I didn’t mind that condo but it got to the point where the section I was residing in was not easily safe, but so I started looking at other places to live & that is where I found the seventh old condo that I’m residing in now. I’ve had no advantage with this condo since I have moved in. I didn’t realize that my floors were rotting so I had to tear up my carpet to replace the floorboards. Not to mention the oven & refrigerator stopped working. Needless to say it has been a pretty extravagant transport so far. On top of everything else I found out that I need to update my electrical panel. I had an appointment with an electrician to come to my condo & inspect all of the electrical outlets. Once he got to my electrical panel he saw that it was actually old & aged. He told me the best occasion is to modernize it. By updating the electrical panel I would avoid a potential condo fire that is normally caused by dangerous connections because of old electrical panels. This is the last thing that I wanted to hear. I didn’t want to spend more cash on another old house. But since I will be residing here for a long time I feel I could make this condo my home.
