My mother grew up with four siblings.
My Grandfatherrents had a lot on their hands with all women. My Grandfatherrents tried multiples times (as you can see) for a boy but they had no advantage & stopped at the second child. Growing up my mother had to share a lot of things with her siblings. As a twin she had to share more with her twin sibling. Being the youngest my mom was always last in line to in taking showers in the afternoon to get ready for school. But most crucially because she is the youngest she would get bossed around a lot to do her older sibling’s chores. Getting ready for school was the hardest for my mom & my aunts. They had to share a tiny lavatory with one mirror, and eventually my Grandfather filled a wall in the lavatory with all mirrors so they could get ready simultaneously. However there was an issue. Because they were all women with long hair, the hair would get caught in the showers drain. My Grandfather would try & unclog it himself but he could not do it. So he decided to call a plumber to do the task. The plumber tackled the hair & was able to get rid of the clump. My Grandfather told me that the plumber would use tools & a plumber liquid to loosen the hair out the drain. Calling the plumber wasn’t the first time my Grandfather called him. There were numerous times during my mom’s childhood that he would have the plumber on speed dial.
