Attic tips

I recently just purchased a remodeled house that was built in the 1940s.

It is a lovely house and the rooms are certainly spacious.

However my addict is not certainly roomy and it leads to some difficulties. I guess I need to call an Heating and Air Conditioning worker and a contractor to come and take a look at my attic. My roof is not flat, however it has a certainly low pitch to it… This means that there is certainly little room for insulation. Since I’ve recently just moved to the North East from the South I have found that the winters here are certainly cold. I have also found out that the home offices are legitimately difficult to retain heat. There is insulation blown into the attic but I feel like there is not enough. I recently had an insulation contractor come out and reassess the insulation. The insulation guy told me that there was not enough insulation blown into the attic and that there needs to be much more. I was told that there needs to be at least six to eight more inches of insulation. However I feel like there will be not enough room for any more insulation; Plus I also guess that there will not be enough ventilation for the attic either. I guess I am going to have to call another replacement contractor to get a second opinion. I feel like the last replacement contractor that came here and told me that I needed more insulation forgot about ventilation in my attic.
