I recently just purchased a remodeled home that was built in the 1940s.
- It is a attractive home and the rooms are really spacious.
However my addict is not really roomy and it leads to some difficulties. I suppose I need to call an Heating, Ventilation plus A/C professional and a business to come and take a look at my attic. My roof is not flat, however it has a really low pitch to it, and this means that there is really little room for insulation, however since I have recently just moved to the North East from the South I have found that the winters here are really cold. I have also found out that the dining rooms are easily tough to retain heat. There is insulation blown into the attic however I feel like there is not enough. I recently had an insulation supplier come out and reassess the insulation. The insulation person told me that there was not enough insulation blown into the attic and that there needs to be much more. I was told that there needs to be at least six to eight more inches of insulation. However I feel like there will be not enough room for any more insulation, then plus I also suppose that there won’t be enough ventilation for the attic either. I suppose I’m going to have to call another replacement supplier to get a second opinion. I feel like the last replacement supplier that came here and told me that I needed more insulation forgot about ventilation in my attic.
