Sitting in the waiting room at the auto shop the other day I was mindlessly watching a program they had on television. I was trying to keep from falling asleep as I had been waiting for my car repairs to be done for nearly three hours. There are only so many times you can play solitaire on your phone and flip through the old magazines they have in the waiting area. I really wish I had brought a book to read or something but I had no way of knowing that it would take so long. Anyway, the program I was watching broke for commercials and I was only half paying attention. I am not sure why the HVAC company’s ad caught my attention but I am sure glad it did. They were talking about an HVAC system that had a programmable and monitored unit. They said that in many cases problems could be detected before the homeowners even noticed them. The HVAC company could contact them and arrange for repairs. I jotted down the company information so that I could call when I got home. I thought that it would be good to get an estimate on the system that they talked about. I would love to not worry about repairs again. Sitting there waiting for my car and not knowing what was wrong or how much it will cost made me realize the importance of this. My HVAC system at my home is a major investment just like my vehicle. Having the peace of mind that this monitored system would bring when it comes to protecting that investment would be wonderful.
