When I was younger I enjoyed to play hide & go seek.
It was my favorite game. At my old condo we would gather all of our friends to play. My old town had about a dozen youngsters that were all in a close vicinity of each other. My associate and I all had walkie talkies so it made the hide & go seek game more fun. My associate and I would all be on one channel & let the seeker know if they were getting close or not. My one friend & I would always win, we had the best hiding spots. When my family & I would go to my Grandfatherrents house, I would try to get my cousins to play hide & go seek with me. Most of the times they would join in. Mostly we would play outside but it was raining one afternoon. I remember going into the basement dining room & looking for a hiding place there. I saw a door that I never went in before. I opened the door up & saw a small hole in the floor with water in it. I was a little scared because I thought it was a small well with something hiding in the water. I instantly closed the door & searched for another hiding place. Now that I’m older I now know that it wasn’t a well. It is a sump pit. A sump pit is most likely found in the basement, a small hole that is designed to collect water. The water gets into the pit by entering through perimeter drains of a basement waterproofing system.
