I’ve been living in this town for just about 6 months now, and I’m still deciding exactly how I feel about it. See, I moved several states away from all of my friends and family, and I haven’t made new friends at all here. What’s more, I’m terrified of driving in this section because on top of the rampant traffic problem, the other motorists are complete idiots who pay no attention to what they’re doing. It’s truly dangerous out there. One thing I appreciate about the region, however, is the prevalence of trees and forests integrated with the city. There are so several patches of tall trees interspersed with the town perimeter, and they make kneeling in traffic slightly more peaceful. The only problem with them is they drop branches often, and knock out the power to our household on a respected basis. These power outages have been messing with our home’s new temperature control unit, and I’m afraid it could do permanent harm to our central heating and cooling system. Every time my associate and I lose power, which is every few weeks, our smart temperature control totally shuts down and has to be reset and rebooted before it will communicate with the air handling device again. This means the indoor air is officially untreated, becoming hot and humid when the air temperature controls and cooling system stop speaking to one another. It also could be sending power surges to our costly heating and cooling equipment, which will actually affect the lifespan of the system. I wish there was something my associate and I could do to protect our ventilation system long term!
