I went to school for marketing and I absolutely love taking a look at magazines, newspapers or any material that contains some sort of ad.
Advertisements are everywhere.
Whether it be through social media, video games, tv commericals, driving down the road and seeing a billboard or just seeing simple print ads, they’re basically everywhere! Call me old school but I still like to read the newspaper and magazines. The other day I was flipping through a pennysaver magazine because I love to save money and clip coupons at every chance that I get. In this magazine there was an ad showing me a local heating and cooling company. The ad was very eye-catching. It was red and yellow and it had a little girl sneezing and holding a tissue. This picture was very fitting since this time of year is known for allergies and pollen affecting families even in a home. The ad also showed before and after pictures of air duct cleaning. The picture was really striking since the before picture was disgusting! The ad even demonstrated what families are breathing in if air ducts are not cleaned consistently. Families can breathe in all sorts of contaminants such as mold, bacteria, dust mites, pets and pet dander. The ad even gave a free dryer vent cleaning coupon and another coupon that gave 10% off additional services for expectant mothers military and seniors. The ad was a good one and even stressed the importance that the heating and cooling company were family owned and operated and have been in the business for many years. Just by that statement it made me to believe that they are very reputable and knowledgeable in the HVAC industry. Whoever created the ad was a genius, it certainly caught my eye and it was a great reminder that I really need to get my air ducts cleaned this spring.
