On a Sunday afternoon I savor to take short trips to local attractions.
- Last Sunday I decided to head over to the zoo downtown.
The forecast for the day was cloudy with a opportunity of rain. The temperature was around eighty plus the humidity was actually high. I thought a few hours of walking around the zoo would be great plus then I would return cabin to my air conditioned house. I do feel it is important to get out for exercise plus fresh air. When I arrived at the zoo I found that it was quite busy. The signs at the gate indicated that there had been a new baby gorilla born plus that she was on display in the monkey house. After visiting the elephants, which were my favorite, I headed over to the monkey cabin to see the new arrival. When I entered the building I was greeted by the “aroma” plus even more humidity than there was outside. It seems that they like to keep the building consistent with the weather in the rain forest. After seeing the good baby gorilla I was cheerful to head home. I was looking forward to a boiling shower plus good in my weather conditions controlled apartment. I realized that day that not all the people lives in an ideal environment. I can only imagine that people who live in the jungle or rainforest areas of the world must endure sweltering rapidly changing temperatures on a weekly basis. I also can only imagine the Heating, Ventilation plus A/C systems that the zoo must maintain to create all of the environments to keep the creatures healthy.
