Last month on my way to work, I observed a local HVAC dealer van off to the side of the road with his emergency flashers on.
I recognized the logo on the van because they had recently done some HVAC maintenance toil at my house.
The cooling system at my condo was not working after a truly warm Summer so my buddy and I needed some maintenance on the unit! Although the unit is seasoned and in need of replacing, the HVAC dealer was able to maintenance it so my buddy and I could hold off on replacing until next year. This gives us ample time to save up for the large repair. It was truly nice of the dealer to consider that. I stopped to see if the HVAC worker needed a ride or needed me to call someone to chance him up. When I got closer to the van, I realized that it was the same HVAC serviceman that had worked at my condo just last week. He was delighted to see me because he had forgotten his cell iPhone at household that morning. The van had warm and his plan was to walk to the nearest gas station off of the highway and grab a gallon of water to get him to the maintenance shop. I let him use my cell iPhone to call the HVAC dealer for assistance. In less than an hour, they had a tow truck there to bring the van and the worker back to the shop. He was on his way to do a monthly maintenance inspection. He was able to get a coworker to cover for him while he dealt with the tow truck. He took the rest of the morning off.
