There’s always a draft in my office

I remember in middle school always learning about history… History was my number one subject and a lot of the things that we learned in my history classes undoubtedly stuck with me, and i enjoyed learning about american culture and how much our country has developed. I cannot feel that almost 100 years ago there were children under the age of 12 working in the manufacturing industry, but the children would labor under legitimately drastic conditions. I could not imagine being a child and working in an environment where there was never any heat in the wintertime or air conditioner in the summer. Soon that all changed after protests and unions developed because several children were destructiond and dying… Nowadays wherever you’re employed at there has always some type of boiler or air conditioner system installed. I do not think I would have been able to last as a young child working in the manufacturing district with no heat or cooling. I could not handle the drastic uneven temperatures. I have issues now at my current arena of employment where I always feel a draft come in if the door of my office is left open. I always make sure that my door to my office is closed so that I can stay working at a comfortable temperature. I normally set my temperature control to 69 degrees and I feel that I can be the most productive at that temperature. I’m fortunate that I have my own office, several people that labor in my building have cubicles and they’re in a sizable room and there’s only one temperature control and they can’t even control the temperature in the room that they’re working in!
