Wintertime is officially here… Days have become so much shorter, we have acquired at least four snowfalls so far and my seasonal depression is starting to set in, however i am the type of person who always needs at least an hour a day of sunlight to feel energized and refreshed! And with wintertime I feel like there comes a lot of repairs, however my heatpump decided to go all haywire on me right during a cold cold spell, however the hot and cold temperatures have been in the drawbacks for three days straight when the heat pump started acting absolutely strange.
When I was taking a look at the measurements it seemed that my thermostat differential was at two degrees, my thermostat was set to seventy-one degrees, and my thermostat was studying sixty-nine degrees.
When I turned on the system the compressor and blower came on and the air out of my vents reached to about 105 degrees. I thought that with that amount of heat it would eventually shut off. However it did not and after twelve minutes by thermostat still learn sixty-nine degrees, basically my blower continued to run, and then when I measured the heat coming out of my vents it learn sixty-nine degrees. I tried shutting off my system however when I did the blower still would run. I had to go to my breaker just to shut the heat pump off. I had a feeling that something was majorly wrong so instead of trying to repair it myself, I dialed my Heating and A/C professional right away to see if he could battle the problem.
