About two years ago, I bought a tiny home.
I wanted to visit all my kids as well as stay for a while, but I didn’t want to live in their homes.
I was particularly independent, as well as I didn’t like it when there were people running all over the place. I raised five kids, as well as as much as I enjoyed them, I felt like I had finally found peace when the last one married. I enjoyed my grandchildren too, but I didn’t want to be with them 24 hours a day. When I first started making the rounds to my kids, I thought my grandkids would want to stay in the tiny home with me while I was there. It seemed none of them was even remotely interested. I asked my child why the ladies didn’t want to sleep over there. She told me it had nothing to do with me, but there wasn’t any air conditioner. I didn’t think his until I realized it was rather hot lately. I asked if there was a local Heating & A/C supplier close by. I wanted to purchase a ductless mini split Heating & A/C system for my tiny house. Two afternoons after the modern Heating & A/C system was installed, my granddaughters were staying in the tiny home with me. They said they wanted to stay over before, but they could not sleep without air conditioner. They thought the tiny home was cool, because they felt like they were camping with me. I had to disclose it did feel a bit like camping when I was a kid. Mom always rented a small cottage on the mountainside.
