Wendy was ready to buy a house, and her mom was right there to offer guidance. Wendy’s mom has been in the HVAC industry for a long time, so she knew how to help her daughter find the right home. This was her first major investment and she wanted it to be the right move. Wendy would live in the house for some time, and if she met someone, then she could have it as a rental property. Her mom manages several rental properties in the city, so this was again right up her alley. Wendy and her mom did endless house hunting until she found the perfect three bedroom home in a serene area with a new furnace and air conditioning system. The previous owners had outdone themselves in making the house presentable to potential customers. So, Wendy could move in and not need to do anything including replacing the heating and cooling in the house. A week after moving in, she had to leave the air conditioning on since it was getting too hot in her area. Wendy doesn’t like heat and humidity, so she tends to turn on the AC early. By summer, the AC has been running for several weeks. Anyway, she was complaining about coughing to her mom and suspected the air conditioning system was to blame. Wendy had to hire an HVAC expert to help with control settings to prevent the AC from making her sick.
