Dial thermostats and old men

I’m becoming an old man now just like my gramps was.

Life and time are a weird thing as they both slip silently past you without you even knowing. I guess it is about just enjoying the ride and trying to be a good person in life. I thought it was about accomplishing all these things but the older I get the more I realize it doesn’t matter how much you achieve, it is more about what kind of person you were in the end. So I am trying to be kinder and more helpful to people as I age. Cooling and heating system repairs is one way I help people, along with doing comedy shows and making music for people to enjoy. I would still like to make more music and do some bigger things with our band while I try to enjoy this whole crazy ride I am on. I do a lot of indoor air quality checks in homes and I try to make people’s lives better by getting them to use a HEPA filter and maybe making them laugh a bit. I quit doing comedy a few years ago because I felt like it wasn’t really showing the true me, and switching to music was the best move I have made so far because music can hit the depths in me better than comedy. I have fond memories though of air conditioned clubs and heated lodges with the comedy career and will always carry those memories with me. Music will hopefully get me a new flock of memories in the years to come. Call your mother.
