I have to admit that I was a bit skeptical when it came to air purification.
I think that came from the price tag initially.
That’s just being honest. I had no idea that an air purifier could cost as much as it does. That just didn’t compute. But then again, my only experience with an air purifier would be in college. Wow, that was a long time ago. We didn’t even live in a dorm where there was central air conditioning. There was radiant heating in that dorm room for the Winter. And the only air conditioning was a cooling breeze coming in from outside. So my roommate hated the air in our dorm room. That may have had to do with the smoking and the smog when you opened a window. I sure couldn’t blame the guy from coming back from a weekend at home with an air purifier. I took one look at it and knew that I would eventually break a toe on this thing. And I hated the sound of it. So I figured when my wife and I went shopping for an air purifier, it’d be something like that. Well no, it’s been 25 years since I was in college. Air purification is now an art just the way new HVAC technology is an art. Shoot, they have an air purifier now that actively knocks out indoor air contaminants. And you don’t have to trip over something to get cleaner air either. The whole home air purification system works inside the HVAC equipment in your home using UV light to clean the air. It’s unbelievable. I’m still shocked we spent the money but wow, it’s the best indoor air quality possible. And at the very least, that’s an investment in our health.
