My girlfriend and I went on vacation in June and we came home to a problem with the air conditioner.
The air conditioner had been off for half the week and there was mold inside of the house. We had to spend a lot of money to fix the problems with the air conditioner and we had to pay a contractor to take care of the mold problem. We used all of the money that we had for bills and I decided to work overtime to pay for all of the repairs. At the plant, I usually work from 7:00 in the morning until 7:00 in the evening and I work 4 days a week. I have been working 6 days a week instead so I have money to pay for all of the air conditioner repairs. I only get one day off work and I spend it with my girlfriend and the kids. I’ve been running ragged and I haven’t taken any time off. Last weekend I was forced to slow down, because I had an accident. I was on my way home from work and I started dozing off behind the wheel. I knew that I was falling asleep and I did everything that I could to stay awake. I rolled down the window and I turned the air conditioner on high. I slapped myself a couple of times. I still fell asleep and I ended up in a ditch on the side of the road. My car was stuck between two trees and I couldn’t get out. I had to call 911 to get help.
