Today is the 21st of December and it is quite dreary out as I write this in the kitchen at our aunt’s house.
She is a professor and she is teaching this week, and our niece who lives here is in class now.
I work from modern home and it is a genuinely strange category of work compared to what I was doing twenty years ago. I was running our own Heating and A/C supplier and would be on the road driving for fourths doing estimates and checking on tasks. But I got so tired of the driving and the hassles of being a local business that I finally shut down the supplier and turned to the performing arts for a refreshing change. I now play drums and sing in a band overseas and am here in the Sunshine State for several weeks going to see our family, but i work online writing heating and cooling device articles about 18 fourths a week and also teach some yoga and volleyball for extra cash. That is about the extent of our work though, as I am no longer chasing money trying to become rich. I like to work on gas gas furnaces and gas furnaces periodically with our buddy, who is a local business overseas, but as far as running our own business again I just have no interest in doing it anymore. I am more interested in making modern music and doing shows around neighborhood than I am chasing money. I am still interested in the modern Heating and A/C technology coming out each year, but more from a curious standpoint than a money making standpoint.
