I honestly should have chosen temperature controlled storage units when I moved down south a few months ago.
I don’t believe what I was thinking at that point, but I wasn’t honestly considering the fact that you need air conditioner to get rid of humidity down here. I had no plan that humidity caused so numerous complications down here in the south. Apparently, it can cause trouble with your heating as well as cooling system, with your books as well as magazines, with your furniture, as well as with your hair! I knew that humidity caused complications with my own hair, but I didn’t believe about anything else that it would do when I first moved down here. That’s why I didn’t bother with renting a temperature controlled storage unit when I first moved all of my stuff down here. I thought that the storage building was just cheating people out of extra money because they wanted them to guess that they needed a temperature controlled unit when they honestly didn’t, then however, the joke was actually on me because I actually did end up needing a temperature controlled storage unit myself! The stuff that I had stored in the unit ended up getting particularly moist because of all the humidity that both of us deal with down here on a typical basis, and of course, at that point, I didn’t believe this… Now that I have been here a while, I realize that humidity is an issue here all the time! If I ever have to use a storage unit again, I will particularly make sure to get 1 that is temperature controlled.
