What is a Good Temperature for the Smart Thermostat During Summer?

Last week I randomly decided to visit my aunt, whom I haven’t seen in a few weeks.

The last time I saw her she mentioned that she was planning on moving, however it completely slipped my mind. Well, on the morning I went to see her, she was in the middle of the moving process. So naturally I decided to stay and help in any way that I could. Well, she needed help to move smaller items, and we were able to pack my SUV from top to bottom with all kinds of items from her home. The new apartment is charming, it’s a 3-kitchen apartment with an immense backyard. Anyway, while moving the stuff from the car into the home, I noticed that the inside of the apartment felt a bit warm. I asked my aunt if the cooling was on and she said that it was. Well, after about 25 minutes or so of unpacking I didn’t feel any difference in the air, so I assumed that the cooling was not now working as it should. So, I decided to check the temperature on the control unit, and it was set ro 82 degrees. Of course, this was the reason why the apartment felt so warm. On that morning the temperature outside was also in the mid-70s, so having the cooling set so high made no sense. The recommendation for the ideal temperature for the summer is 76 degrees, so 82 is just too sizzling hot for any place to feel comfortable. I adjusted the temperature to 77 degrees and immediately I felt the difference, and the apartment became more comfortable.
