Almost a year ago, I broke up with my lady and lived alone for 11 months
The cabin is quiet right now with just me and Sonia in it, so I’m trying to get work done before they all return and get loud. While they aren’t that loud, it’s hard to concentrate on writing when they play music and have fun in the living room. I had a blast this weekend and will be going back to my flat with a new roommate. My friend is an HVAC rep, and I’ve known her for a while, and now we’re living together, which is great because I sleep better when someone else is there with me. I guess I’ve been living alone for long enough, so it’s nice to have someone else there with me. Since she can walk to her place of work in just a few minutes, she’ll probably keep living with me until the HVAC company moves. The job I have at a heating and cooling supplier store in a nearby town doesn’t quite pay me enough to keep up with inflation, so I decided to get a roommate. The landlord didn’t want me to rent to anyone, but I have to, and I’ll just tell him it’s my girlfriend.
