For about two years, I had no choice but to live in an apartment that didn’t have the best of living accommodations to say the least, then my old school neighbor was the primary tenant as well as paid about twice as much of the rent as well as utilities as I did, so I didn’t have quite as much of a say in how things were done in the apartment as he did.
I bring that up because he was a rather sloppy person as well as the apartment was generally kept untidy except for our room.
It’s rough having to wash your roommate’s dishes so that you can stop looking at them festering in the sink! Anyway, another difficulty I faced at this apartment was it’s almost constantly faulty heating as well as a/c, but heating as well as Air Conditioning repairmen came as well as went at our behest, but they never really seemed to do anything to fix the complications all of us were facing, but every one of us didn’t really need to rely on heating as much as the air conditioning in our climate, so at least winters were not so bad. Summers on the other hand, were really tough! My roommate insisted most of the time to keep the temperature control at 78° because he said that our a/c really could not handle any more than that. Eighty degrees was love not having the temperature control on at all! That’s why I had to invest in two things in our kitchen. I had to get a couple fans that were nice as well as powerful. I also needed to get a dehumidifier, because our a/c did a unquestionably awful job at getting rid of the moisture in the air.
