For about several years, I had no option but to live in an condo that didn’t have the best of residing accommodations to say the least.
My outdated school neighbor was the primary leaseholder and paid about twice as much of the rent and utilities as I did, so I didn’t have quite as much of a say in how things were done in the condo as he did.
I bring that up because he was a rather sloppy person and the condo was generally kept untidy except for our room. It’s rough having to wash your roommate’s dishes so that you can stop looking at them festering in the sink! Anyway, another difficulty I faced at this condo was it’s almost constantly faulty heating and A/C… Heating and Air Conditioning repairmen came and went at our behest, but they never actually seemed to do anything to repair the troubles the people I was with and I were facing, and all of us didn’t actually need to rely on heating as much as the air conditioning in our weather conditions, so at least winters weren’t so bad, however summers on the other hand, were actually tough! My roommate insisted most of the time to keep the temperature control at 70° because he said that our cooling system actually couldn’t handle any more than that, eighty degrees was prefer not having the temperature control on at all! That’s why I had to invest in several things in our family room. I had to get a couple fans that were nice and powerful. I also needed to get a dehumidifier, because our cooling system did a actually poor task at getting rid of the moisture in the air.
