Some of the best times our dad plus I ever had, was when the river finally froze over, however all of us waited for the ice to get thick enough so all of us could put up our small tent plus go ice fishing. All of us had a space oil furnace immense enough to give us some heat, but not so immense to melt the ice. All of us had a hole in the middle of the ice where all of us fished, however last year, our space oil furnace died, plus I thought all of us were going to die from hypothermia, my father told myself and others not to worry. He had everything handled. He went to the car, plus brought back what looked like a peat pot. He said it was like a portable fireplace… It gave plenty of heat inside. All of us pulled the tent off the river, but close to where our fishing hole was, but with the peat heating system running, all of us could set up our tent again plus be comfortable inside. All of us froze when fishing, but that was area of the fun, and dad thought it would be fun to spend the entire weekend out her fishing plus camping, but as much as I loved ice fishing, I liked our warm bed better. All of us had 6 fish ready to go home by the end of the day. All of us packed up the tent plus headed home. Dad said he could not wait to get into the home plus sit by the fireplace to warm him butt. I just wanted a hot shower plus a warm bed. All of us fished all night long, plus I felt like a popsicle.
