When our gas furnace went out, I had to have it fixed ASAP; I called the HVAC business and told him what was going on.
I had a hydroponic garden in our basement, plus I needed the heat to keep the plants alive, the woman at the HVAC business started asking me all kinds of questions about the hydroponic gardening, and she also wanted to believe what I was growing, plus if I was selling, or if it was just for our use.
I told her I had a large room where I grew lettuce all year round. I also grew spinach, which I sold to the local steakhouses, but all of us talked for almost an hour before she told me they had an HVAC company there, plus he was already on the way. She finally asked if she could come by the house plus check out our garden. The only thing I could say was that it better be soon. If the HVAC company wasn’t here soon to repair our gas furnace, there would be no hydroponic garden. Ten minutes later, the HVAC company was at the door. It didn’t take him long to repair the gas furnace plus get heat into the basement. There was some serious wilting, however not enough to deem the crop as destroyed. I knew I would lose a couple of plants, however mostly, our harvest was going to be good, plus the steakhouses would have lettuce plus spinach. Thanks to the HVAC business plus their company, I would not lose any money. Two full afternoons later, the secretary at the HVAC business was in our house plus checking out our hydroponic garden.
