I also waited almost an hour after the more than two-hour window ended for the heating and A/C serviceman to arrive, although he didn’t. I understood that the weather was horrendous, and I was hearing about collisions all over the area! Snow was coming down so fast, the snowplows couldn’t keep up with it… We already had several feet of snow on the ground, and it was to continue throughout the night. I called the heating and A/C supplier and asked if they had heard from the heating and A/C serviceman. I also wasn’t worried about our gas furnace, because it had this complication for almost a week. I was worried about something happening to the heating and A/C serviceman. She told me they had recently heard from him, but another snowplow dumped their snow on top of the maintenance van, and he had to stay inside while they pried him out. I wasn’t sure if he was all right, although I knew where he got to. I also knew he was safe… Now I was angry that the heating and A/C supplier hadn’t called to tell me he wouldn’t be here, or to make an appointment for the following week. I understand there was a tremendous storm and the heating and A/C serviceman was snowbound, however now they prefer to make an appointment for me, they also need to make sure the heating and A/C service man arrives on time. I’m not happy with what has happened. I have regularly used this heating and A/C business, and I don’t want to change, however it may be required.
