The air vents were almost full of dog fur when I was over at my friend Brad’s house the other day! I was shocked because as far as I could tell, Brad was a pretty neat housekeeper.
The rest of the house seemed to be relatively clean to me.
I mean, it wasn’t really cluttered or anything and everything seemed to be put away in its place. I noticed that there wasn’t a sink full of dirty dishes and the furniture was well maintained. Not only that, but the heating system also seemed to be working correctly. Well, that’s what I thought at first, anyway. I heard the furnace kick on and the heating system seemed to start running. I heard the sounds that it was making but the minute that the furnace kicked on, the air vent in the kitchen floor started to make a weird whistling sound. I was trying to figure out what the issue was with the heating system because it was so cold in there. Then I suddenly tripped over the air vent cover on the floor next to the kitchen cabinets. I hurt my toe and I didn’t want Brad to do the same thing, so I bent down to try to fix it myself. However, I couldn’t get the air vent cover back down into the floor to get it flush with the floor! Come to find out, it was because there was so much dog fur stuck inside of the ductwork that the air vent wouldn’t fit! I couldn’t believe what I was seeing.
