Should I trust our Heating and A/C company?

Should I trust our Heating and A/C company completely? Honestly, I am not sure if I should trust our Heating and A/C company in this way.

I am about to be gone for a few months, and I have been distraught about our Heating and A/C units. I have considered hiring someone to stay at our home to make sure that everything is laboring while I am gone. The thing that I am distraught about the most is our Heating and A/C units. I know that our Heating and A/C units are old, and I wouldn’t be surprised to find out that our Heating and A/C units stopped laboring. However, if our oil furnace stops laboring while I am gone, I know that I am going to have some pretty severe consequences. The pipes underneath our home could literally freeze if something happened to our Heating and A/C units. That is why I have considered talking to the Heating and A/C company. When I talked to the owner of the Heating and A/C company, he told me that I could leave our keys with the Heating and A/C company. I could install a smart thermostat that will allow me to keep an eye on our Heating and A/C units digitally, and if the thermostat ever says that the Heating and A/C units are not laboring, I could simply call the Heating and A/C company. Since the Heating and A/C company would already have a key to our house, the Heating and A/C company could simply go into our home and repair our Heating and A/C units separate from anyone having to be there. While this sounds love a genuinely convenient plan, I will confess that I am pretty nervous. What if I can’t trust the Heating and A/C company. What if someone steals something. This seems love a lot of trust. Should I trust our Heating and A/C company?
