During the proceedings, she came to live with my partner and I for emotional support. I had been worried that she’d be too lonely while trying to figure this thing out. And once it was done, I was glad since I saw her sigh with relief. Mom did get the previous house she lived in with my step dad, but she opted to sell it. We then went house hunting and she came across the most beautiful neighborhood in the leafy suburbs. Mom loved this one house and bought it in cash since there was no need to get a mortgage. Everything in the house was done, and they had even included a modern HVAC system. The realtor assured mom that the previous owner had an HVAC professional come by and install a new HVAC system before the house went on the market. To be sure of this, we also hired a HVAC professional to do an inspection before purchasing the house. It was true the place has a good HVAC system. Mom also wanted an air purification system set up to guarantee good indoor air quality. She called the HVAC company to ask for a discount for the air purification system and to her surprise they gave her 25% off on installation fees. The only catch was she had to buy the air purification system from their HVAC store. Mom did and now she enjoys good indoor air quality.
