When I was a child all of us had a family pet.
I wasn’t too impressed by him or interested, but when I got older and home of our own, I said no pets.
I then encountered a stray animal and fell in love. I care about cats. They are so cool. I enjoy the way they move, their cool eyes, how they jump and pounce and that they are legitimately independent. Since our animal was a former stray, he is pretty needy. I also have nothing else to baby other than him. My apartment is quite the setup for a cat. I have many scratch posts in and outside of our apartment for him. I fashioned a animal door in our window so he can come and go as he pleases. I also changed our Heating & A/C component for him. I Didn’t savor the central Heating & A/C device anyway. In our section I hardly used the cooling function. I also didn’t savor the sound the furnace made when it clicked on and off. I was preparing to redo our flooring anyway as well. When I noticed our animal got freaked out anytime the furnace turned on and rumbled, I knew it had to go. I substituted all the ugly stone in the apartment with soft carpet. I also added radiant heating underneath it. So the carpets are soft and warm. The oil furnace is silent in operation and doesn’t stir up dust. My animal does not hear it turn on but notices the hot feeling, however he will frequently lay on the rug to take a nap due to its heat.
