Now that my mom brought that to my attention, I am wondering if that was the cause of my sore throat.
A few weeks ago, I returned back to my lake home from a trip that I had taken during the holiday. During my trip, I was truly fine, and had an elegant time with my good pals and family. However, a day after returning home, my throat began to tickle as if I were coming down with a cold. At first, I didn’t acknowledge it as a problem because it’s the winter time and I usually get a sore throat, it’s the one time of year that I am guaranteed to catch a cold. Well, my sore throat lasted for a few nights, and I got a bit of the sniffles, but aside from that, nothing felt out of the norm for me. I told my mom, and she said that it could be the air quality in my residence. I was gone for close to 2 weeks and my residence was locked up and I had the temperature control component set at 65 degrees. I genuinely am not sure if the HVAC machine cycled on while I was gone. I have never been distraught about the air quality in my residence. Now that my mom brought that to my attention, I am wondering if that was the cause of my sore throat. After doing a small amount of research, I discovered that poor air quality can lead to cold-like or flu-like symptoms that include an itchy throat and runny nose. Without a media air cleaner, I can’t confirm or deny if the air quality in my lake residence is poor, and now that my symptoms are gone, I am not actually convinced that they resulted from poor air quality. My mom said she would buy me a media air cleaner, but I told her to hold off on that because I recognize my air quality isn’t so bad.
