For her birthday, our sibling bought a painting set for our four year old daughter.
I don’t know what gets into the mind of a child, however mine can get particularly creative.
Last year, she was making a dollhouse out of mud and she buried her doll’s feet in the mud so they wouldn’t tip over and started playing. I was scared to think what she would do with a painting set. When I came home from work the next afternoon I could not hear our daughter. My sibling, who babysits for me, was laying on the sofa watching television and reading a book. I asked her where Mary was and she said she was up in her room napping, despite the fact that she heard get up about 90 minutes ago. I went upstairs and screamed for my sibling, as my kid was on a chair painting her home office with the painting set. She had painted the air vent cover in various colors, and she was now working on the temperature control and it was pink plus purple. She even painted the dial on the temperature control and I could not see the temperature. Since our sibling bought her the painting set, I told her it was up to her to clean the air vent and temperature control. She wasn’t blissful, even though I didn’t care, because buying a painting set for a five-year-old and then leaving them unsupervised with it in reach was stupid. Since the heat was on, the paint was hard to get off the air vent cover and I was slowly getting it off the temperature control. My kid was laying on the bed and complaining that all of us ruined her room.
