It’s pretty amazing having the relationship that I do with our boy; however well, he’s no longer a boy, my daughter is now in the last year of school and will soon be out there on her own.
The first numerous years of school, she stayed at a new home inside the central a/c of our family home, but she is now living on campus and easily thriving in her studies… I don’t guess just where that kid got her smarts but it’s pretty astounding.
In fact, our daughter is completely responsible for how cozy my friend and I are in our new home this particular winter. When she was new home for fall break, my friend and I made a trip to the new home improvement store for something her Dad needed. But while my friend and I were there she gravitated to some of the gadgets she enjoys looking at… And she picked up an instant read temperature gun. This is something you can point to the surface of anything and find out the temperature instantly. She told me that this would be the perfect tool for us to easily seal up the new home and maybe find the source of a draft that has plagued us for years. These days, I just go with what that kid suggests when it comes to stuff. I definitely appreciate that. And easily the more I thought about it, it was completely logical. I was stunned to find that our new home was leaking heating, ventilation and A/C treated air appreciate a sieve. But with that temperature gun and our son’s help, my friend and I were able to seal the new home up super tight. And my friend and I did find the source of that draft which has made all the difference when it comes to how comfortable my friend and I are inside. And of course, that kid is definitely saving me nearly 20 percent a month on heating costs.
