When my buddy said he wanted to hang out, I had no idea that he had a surprise.
He pulled up in this beautiful sports car and revved the engine to show how powerful the engine was.
It was a v8 engine and I definitely was impressed even though I thought it probably was a major gas guzzler. With the costs of gas going up, I wasn’t sure why he chose to get a car like that. He laughed and said he didn’t do a lot of driving anyway. He said for the most part, he would just to to work and then go back home and he wanted something to show off in his neighborhood. He already told me how all the kids in the area kept pointing saying, “That’s my car!” You know those childhood games we used to play. Anyway, I loved the fact that there was built-in air conditioning in the seats. I never experienced air conditioned seats before but it kept you nice and cool from below and that was a game changer in my mind when it came to air conditioning. In his last car he actually had the opposite, built in heating in the seats which I thought was great too. Fortunately, this new car has both of those things but he didn’t want to test the heated seats until the winter season came around. I can’t tell you how fun it was driving around with my buddy in such a fancy car. He even let me take it for a spin and that was great! I did have to pay him for gas money though but I was cranking the AC system.
