My acquaintance Cathy had a dinner party at her cabin last week, but it was way too boiling in her cabin for all the people.
I feel that Cathy was just confused about the fact that whenever you have a big group of people in your house, you need to lower the thermostat settings… Cathy has never had a dinner party before as far as I know… Unlike me, she is not someone who entertains on a regular basis.
I don’t even think why she decided to do it this time but I feel that she was just trying to do something nice for her group of friends. I entirely should have warned her about the fact that she needed to turn the temperature down on her thermostat before all the people got there. I l received that the tough way over years as well as years of entertaining people at our house, but even when the weather is particularly cold outside, you never particularly have to have your furnace turned up when you’re going to have a big group of people in your house. That’s because all the body heat that gets generated from your guests particularly starts heating up your cabin more than you would think! The dinner party that Cathy had was particularly uncomfortable because of the temperature inside of the house. I felt disappointing about it for her, but I recognize she is going to have to learn the same way that I did. Having lots of people over means that you are going to have to adjust the temperature in your condo to account for that.
