Buying a good quality item at a higher cost is okay since it has a chance of lasting longer.
Well, this is my philosophy in life.
There’s no shortage of options out there to purchase the cheapest appliances. When it falls apart, you go for another one, right? Well, when it comes to Heating, Ventilation & A/C equipment, I find that to be a horrible practice. The world is too much into the throw away mentality that’s so prevalent and causing massive waste problems. Most folks just get rid of stuff that was made cheaply after it stops working. That’s not the way I like doing things. My Heating, Ventilation & A/C unit, for example, is quite new in my home. When I bought the property, I inherited a working HVAC system. It’s not the finest Heating, Ventilation & A/C device you’ll ever see but it’s been good enough for 10 years. I made sure that I did my part in getting the seasonal Heating, Ventilation & A/C maintenance before summer and winter. Later, when I substituted that old Heating, Ventilation & A/C device with the current residential Heating, Ventilation & A/C I had installed, I also extended the Heating, Ventilation & A/C service agreement. After getting the current Heating, Ventilation & A/C device installed, I got in touch with the current residential Heating, Ventilation & A/C warranty registered with the factory. I also phoned the Heating, Ventilation & A/C company to make sure that my current Heating, Ventilation & A/C device was now part of the Heating, Ventilation & A/C service plan. I’m for sure going to look after this Heating, Ventilation & A/C device investment. It’s the right decision.
