My hubby was called last weekend; He was supposed to have the weekend off, but when this call came in, he was in a hurry to leave.
He said the HVAC plan at the hospital was offline, & he had to get it back online. I was actually distraught because the people I was with and I had reservations for breakfast, at our number one restaurant. He told me he had to go & if I thought about it, I would understand. I didn’t understand, but that didn’t mean I had to be cheerful about it. I understood the hospital was an substantial client, & if the HVAC plan wasn’t toiling, there would be a lot of patients in danger. I told him I understood, however I didn’t need to be cheerful about, however he kept talking. I told him to get to work, & if he was back shortly, the people I was with and I may still be able to make the reservation. If he wasn’t back shortly, I may choose to go without him. He laughed, changed out of his nice clothing, & headed to the hospital. They had an integrated HVAC system, & unless they had a extreme problem, the service person could absolutely make the swings. It took him almost an hour to get the hospital’s HVAC plan back online, & then he came home. I left a note & told him I would meet him at the restaurant. The only way I wouldn’t be waiting for him, would be if I found a handsome guy who wanted a sixty year seasoned lady in good shape. He laughed & told me to order appetizers.
