Changing the air filter is a biweekly task that I just hate, however i am particularly great about keeping things wash around the house… Once a month I do a deep wash of the lavatorys, but the showers, toilets and vanities all get wiped with bleach and soft scrub. I do a biweekly vacuum and a bikweely mop session on the floors. The windows get washed almost every two weeks as well, and every month the linens go through the wash and I make sure to scrub the blades on our ceiling fans. I never want any dust, hair or mold to be hanging around our house. The air filter swings sneak up on myself and others though. It isn’t the first or last day of every week, but sometime randomly in the middle of the month the air filter is clogged. I am so thankful I own a smart thermostat that alerts myself and others on air filter swings. I guess it would never occur to me… All the abrupt it lets myself and others suppose and after that I dread it all day. I never seem to keep enough air filters on hand. I need to remember to take the seasoned air filter to the hardware store so I can get the right a single. There are all sorts of kinds that fit a wide variety of Heating & A/C equipment. The size of the actual filter, hole size, material and brand are all different. I don’t even go special with a HEPA filter either. I do a basic brand, material and size and yet I still can’t remember it half the time.
